The Think Pink OC Wall of Honor is now up at The Shops at Mission Viejo, located in the Macy’s wing, right in front of Build-A-Bear! Come visit and fill out an Honor Card to recognize a loved one who has been touched by breast cancer.

Then, join us Saturday, October 11 at 8:00 a.m. for our Walk for the Wall—a fun, guided walk through the mall where we’ll get some exercise, enjoy community spirit, and finish with a free raffle. Bring your friends and family, and let’s walk together to honor all those who have fought or are fighting breast cancer!​​​​​​​​

Think Pink OC has joined forces with The Breast Cancer Fundraiser to host an amazing WeGive Day on Sunday, September 14! We came together to celebrate a remarkable group of women who have recently embarked on their breast cancer treatment journey. Participants were thrilled to receive a WeCare package filled with thoughtful gifts and helpful items aimed at uplifting their spirits and supporting them through this challenging time. The afternoon was topped off with an inspiring speaker and fantastic booths to explore, making it a truly unforgettable event!

On the third Friday of each month we were excited to connect with our amazing community at our "Free Speech" Table. With the help of our fantastic volunteers we shared vital information about breast health services and support groups, all while spreading joy with Think Pink OC gifts! We were thrilled to connect with breast cancer survivors, their families, and friends, building a supportive network together. These engaging events are just the beginning as we gear up for our spectacular Wall of Honor event this October!

Think Pink OC, in partnership with Brighton at the Shops at Mission Viejo and the Women's Wellness Center at Mission Hospital, honors breast cancer survivors and their loved ones during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We hope that you were able to join us for inspiring stories and educational events that promote awareness and resilience in our community.

• At our kickoff event, Natalie and Jenny shared their powerful breast cancer journeys, highlighting the deep friendship and partnership that emerged in their mission to raise breast health awareness.

• Nicole Peredo, from ARTime BARRO, shared the powerful connection between the practice of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pieces of pottery with gold, with the breast cancer jouney.

  • Nicole lead a fun, hands-on Kintsugi workshop on November 8, 2024, at Paper Panduh at the Shops at Mission Viejo! 

• Susann Burnett, Breast Health Nurse Navigator at the Mission Hospital Women's Wellness Center, spoke about her dedication to helping patients along their diagnostic and treatment journeys and the importance of patient support groups.

• Bernadette, owner of Everything to do with Hair, shared the many hair options for those undergoing cancer treatment and performed consultations for eyebrow sculpting.

• At the Brighton Survivor Celebration, breast cancer survivors shared their inspirational stories, in a celebration of strength, resilience and hope.

Think Pink OC, a nonprofit based in Orange County, California, launches in September, 2024.  We're dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of early breast cancer detection and helping those in our community to access necessary breast health services, particularly those with financial or social challenges.
