Think Pink OC, in partnership with Brighton at the Shops at Mission Viejo and the Women's Wellness Center at Mission Hospital, honors breast cancer survivors and their loved ones during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join us for inspiring stories and educational events that promote awareness and resilience in our community.

  • At our kickoff event, Natalie and Jenny shared their powerful breast cancer journeys, highlighting the deep friendship and partnership that emerged in their mission to raise breast health awareness.

  • Nicole Peredo, from ARTime BARRO, shared the powerful connection between the practice of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pieces of pottery with gold, with the breast cancer jouney.

    • Nicole lead a fun, hands-on Kintsugi workshop on November 8, 2024, at Paper Panduh at the Shops at Mission Viejo! 

  • Susann Burnett, Breast Health Nurse Navigator at the Mission Hospital Women's Wellness Center, spoke about her dedication to helping patients along their diagnostic and treatment journeys and the importance of patient support groups.

  • Bernadette, owner of Everything to do with Hair, shared the many hair options for those undergoing cancer treatment and performed consultations for eyebrow sculpting.

  • At the Brighton Survivor Celebration, breast cancer survivors shared their inspirational stories, in a celebration of strength, resilience and hope.

September 2024

Think Pink OC, a nonprofit based in Orange County, California, launches in September, 2024.  We're dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of early breast cancer detection and helping those in our community to access necessary breast health services, particularly those with financial or social challenges.
